TORNEIO MODELO 2001
O União Micaelense foi convidado a participar no Torneio Modelo 2001 que servia de preparação ao Santa Clara, participante no Campeonato Nacional da 3ª Divisão. O clube continental convidado foi o Sporting Clube de Portugal, que disputaria o Nacional da 2ª Divisão.
